JesusF from Spain created an animated version in GeoGebra. Watcth the YouTube video, play with the interActivity and then go to the next part to learn how to make the leg of the walker.

To stop the horizontal motion, right click on the t slider and deselect "Animation on".

Click and drag the "incline" slider to change the slope of the ground. Click and drag the "d" slider to change the distance from the body to the ground so that the strandbeest feet walk on the ground. Double-click to open in GeoGebra. You can then save this file to your computer.
